Alvera "Vera" Schabbing Snyder

Alvera “Vera” Schabbing Snyder, 50, of Delphos, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

She was born January 7, 1967, to George and Nellie (Dempsey) Schabbing. Both preceded her in death.

She is survived by her fiancé of 30 plus years, Don Snyder of Delphos; two brothers, George (Peggy) Schabbing of Grover Hill and Doug Schabbing of Delphos; three sisters, Brenda Neil of Delphos, Paula Brown of Delphos, and Esther (Larry) Wilson of Canton, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Beulah “Bubba” Schabbing.

Vera enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, camping, and bonfires. She was a cashier at Rite-aid for four years.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home with calling one hour prior to the service. Minister Kathy Martin will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call on Friday, August 18, 2017, from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
