Billy Adams

Billy Adams, 86, of Grover Hill, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at his residence. He was born January 8, 1931, in Grover Hill to John and Mary Ellen (Morris) Adams. Both preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Leona V. Martin Cross, she survives in Grover Hill. Billy worked for the Division of Wildlife - Soil Conservation Services and the Water Shed Services, combined for 42 years. He also served in the Marines. He is survived by two step-children, Michael (Joyce) Cross of Van Wert and Donna (Jerry) Wannemacher of Ottoville; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step-son, Philip P. Cross; seven brothers and five sisters. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Harter and Schier Funeral Home.
