James W. Frankhouser, 71, of Graceville, FL, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at his home in Florida.
He was born October 31, 1946, in Lima to Alan “Jake” and Marcella J. (Lhamon) Frankhouser who both preceded him in death. On February 14, 1980, he was united in marriage to Karen L. Stewart. She survives in Graceville.
James is also survived by two brothers, Alan Frankhouser of Leipsic and Randy (Paula) Frankhouser of Lima; and a brother-in-law, Danny York of Lima.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl M. York, and a sister-in-law, Mary Frankhouser.
James was a 1964 graduate of Elida High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Army. He was a Brick Mason by trade and was a member of the International Union of Brick Layers and Allied Craftsmen. He loved to fish, buy antiques, and look for classic cars.
Graveside Services will be on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos. Pastor Rich Rakay will officiate. Full military graveside rites will be performed by the Delphos Veteran’s Council.
