Joan "Joanie" B. Ketcham

Joan "Joanie" B. Ketcham, 79, of Delphos, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Vancrest Healthcare Center of Delphos. She was born April 6, 1938, in Ottawa to David and Ruth (Johantgen) Good, both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Ketcham on June 21, 1968; he preceded her in death on July 8, 1994. She is survived by two sons, Richard (Shannon) Ketcham of Lima and David (Dianna) Ketcham of Colorado; one daughter, Donna (Chuck) German of Delphos; stepson, Dwayne Ketcham of Kalida; stepdaughter, Lora (Donald) Barrett of Tennessee; 12 grandchildren, John, Chad, and Scott German, Logan and Kaleigh Ketcham, Geoff, Alex, Samantha, and Lucas Ketcham, Jason Ledford, and David and Justin Ketcham; and seven great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Eric, and Samarra German, Megan and Abby German, Lilly Ketcham, and Rilie Ketcham. She is also survived by a special friend, Helen Cross, whom was her gambling and bingo buddy, especially going to Atlantic City. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Nathan Ledford; brother, Ron Garber; daughter-in-law, Annie Ketcham. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist and a 1956 graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School. She had worked at Chief Supermarket, Pangles as a baker, Myers Cleaners, and was an over the road semi truck driver with her husband for Pirkle Transportation. After retirement she drove for PTI Transportation for ten years. Funeral services will begin on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with one hour prior to the service at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Father Charles Obinwa will officiate. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, June 2, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
