Judith Grogg

Judith Grogg, 71, of Delphos passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.

She was born August 12, 1946, to Elmer and Lela (McGough) Ludy. Both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on November 27, 1964 to Jerry Grogg; he preceded her in death on October 17, 2006.

She is survived by four sons, Jeff (Teresa) Grogg of Elida, Jamey (Jenny) Grogg of Blanchester, OH, Jason (Laura) Grogg of Delphos, and Josh (Sarah) Grogg of Delphos; two daughters, Julie (Eric) Lambert and Jill Grogg both of Delphos;  a brother, John (Freda) Ludy of Michigan and twelve grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Alexander Grogg; three brothers; and a sister.

Judie had worked for Birkmeier Monuments/Delphos Granite, KFC, and had retired from Rite Aid of Delphos. She was also a caregiver and babysat for her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, flower gardening and spending time with her family, she was a true giver throughout her life.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Reverend David Howell will officiate. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
