Margaret M. Lambert

Margaret M. (DeVilbiss) Lambert, 77, of Lima formerly of Spencerville, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born February 19, 1940, in Spencerville to Samuel and Olive (Miller) DeVilbiss. She was united in marriage to Paul E. Lambert, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Eric (Julie) Lambert of Delphos; two daughters, Brenda Pohlman of Lima and Kim (Ted) Kill of Delphos; sisters, Martha (Don) Caudill of Tennessee, Marilyn Allen of Napoleon; sister-in-law, Dee DeVilbiss of Venedocia; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, David Lambert and brothers, William and Samuel DeVilbiss and sister-in-law Rhonda DeVilbiss.

Margaret had worked as an egg handler for her brother Bill’s business.  She was a member of Friends Church in Spencerville.  Margaret loved gardening, and was an avid Bengals fan.

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 5, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Spencerville Cemetery.  Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
