Matthew J. Krendl

Matthew J. Krendl, 54, of New Albany, formerly of Delphos, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017. 

He was born December 27, 1962, in Lima to Jack and Mary (Schulte) Krendl of Delphos.  His father preceded him in death, his mother survives in Delphos.  He is survived by three sons, Justin (Kelsey) Krendl of Delphos, Marcus (Katlin) Krendl of Delphos, and Dylan (Kaitlin) Krendl Bowling Green, OH;  eight brothers, Lee (Kathy) Krendl of Englewood, Florida, David (Debbie) Krendl of Delphos, Pat (Linda) Krendl of Cridersville, Kurt (Lucinda) Krendl of Ada, Tom Krendl of Marana, AZ, Joe ( Cindy) Krendl of Continental, and Jeff (Tracy) Krendl of Ft. Jennings; two sisters, Julie (Chris) Ernst of Batavia, OH, Laura Stocksdale of Delphos, and a sister-in-law, Marcy Krendl of West Chester, OH.  Matt is also survived by four grandchildren, Jacob, Gwyn, Teagen, and Cora.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Krendl. 

Matt was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was employed at EG Industries of Cleveland, OH.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 1, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos.  Father Doug Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, 2017, 2-8 p.m. at Harter Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Parish Foundation.
