Mildred C. Hartman

Mildred C. Hartman, 95, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017, at her residence. Mildred was born on February 5, 1922,  in Chambersburg, PA to Daniel and Anna (Keener) Martin.  Both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on June 20, 1946,  to Edwin Hartman who also preceded her in death.

Mildred is survived by two sons, Harvey (Kriss) Hartman of Lynchburg, VA, and Doyle (Chris) Hartman of Delaware, OH; three daughters, Lynette Ream and Marilyn Hartman, both of Elida, OH, and Phyllis (Adrian) Thomas of Ft. Wayne, IN; two brothers, Jake Martin of Indiana and Lewis (Wilma) Martin of Wisconsin; two sisters, Ella Hershey and Rhoda Stoll, both of Wisconsin; two sisters-in law, Ada Martin and Pearl Martin; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son Daniel Hartman, three brothers, and one sister. 

Mildred was a member of the Pike Mennonite Church and was an active member of the Women’s Sewing Circle at church.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 22, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Pike Mennonite Church. Memorial contributions may be made to AMG International or Pike Mennonite Church.
