Anne M. Ramsey

On July 31, 2017, at 12:55 a.m. Anne M Ramsey, 95, passed away peacefully in hospice care in Rockwell, Texas after struggling to recover from a head injury suffered in 2008.

Anne was born May 27, 1922, in Lafferty, Ohio,  to Rudolph and Martha (Wuchinich) Mamula.  She married Carl Wilbur Ramsey on April 15, 1950, who entered into eternal rest on August 7, 1986.

Surviving are two sons and their families, Tim and Nancy Jean Ramsey of Rowlett, Texas; and Scott Douglas and Nancy Jane Ramsey of Boca Raton, Florida; along with grandchildren Westin Carl Ramsey of Rowlett, Texas; Alyssa Nicole Ramsey of Delray Beach, Florida; and Alison Nicole Ramsey of Boca Raton, Florida.  

Anne was also preceded in death by granddaughter Brianna Najean Ramsey of Rowlett, Texas – October 19, 1988 to December 11, 2009.

Sisters Dorothy Harmon, Sara Branz, Mary Cortellesi and brothers Nick and Sammy Mamula are deceased.

Anne was a dedicated wife and loving mother. She volunteered at St. Rita’s Hospital and was a member of The United Methodist Church of Delphos, Eastern Star Chapter 26 and Elks Lodge 1197 of Van Wert.   She became an avid golfer later in life and divided her time between Ohio and Florida, following the sun and getting in 9 before happy hour.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos.  Anne will be interned next to her loving husband Carl at the Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call from Noon to 2 p.m. prior to services.

Preferred memorials are to The United Methodist Church of Delphos.
