Betty Reinemeyer Obituary

Betty Jane Reinemeyer, 65, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of natural causes on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dayton, Ohio. She was born March 28, 1952, in Delphos to Paul and Catherine Reinemeyer. They both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her grandmother, Minnie “Gram” Reinemeyer.

She is survived by a brother, Jack (Sue) Reinemeyer of Bradenton, FL; three sisters, Ann (Harry, deceased.) Lewis of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, Ruth (Jim) Reinemeyer-Staup, and Jean Burke both of Dayton; nieces and nephews, Fred (Darla) Reinemeyer, Rita (Nathan) Thatcher, Mary Wormley, Lisa Bahr, Michelle (Jeff, deceased) Poling, Russell (Lauren) Burke; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of St. John’s High School and Edgecliff College (Xavier University) in Cincinnati, and she had worked as a secretary at Lens Corp. Betty was a very talented artist, especially with batik paintings.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Parish Foundation.
