Clara E. Binkley

Clara E. “Tiny” Binkley, 91, of Delphos, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at her residence. She was born September 18, 1926, in Delphos to Noah and Hilda (Carder) Hershey. They both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Raymond Binkley; he preceded her in death on June 3, 1994.

She is survived by three sons, Michael (Rebecca) Binkley of Delphos, Timothy (Bonnie) Binkley of Celina, and Rick Binkley of Middle Point; one daughter, Kathleen John of Middle Point; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Binkley; three brothers, Arthur, Ralph, and Harvey Hershey; four sisters, Mildred Mullhour, Velma “Dutch” Bridges, Esther Rex, and Rosemary Bensman; daughter-in-law, Wendy Binkley; and son-in-law, Phillip John.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved fishing, traveling, and spending time at family get togethers, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Reverend David Howell will officiate. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, January 5, 2018, from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
