Dorotha Ann Davis

Dorotha Ann Davis, 74, of Delphos passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Delphos. She was born August 3, 1943, in Kentucky to Robert and Elizabeth (Shackleford) Maxwell. They both preceded her in death.

She is survived by four sons, Michael Davis of CA, Daniel Davis Delphos, Eugene “Ray” Davis of Cardington, Ohio, and Johnny (Debra) Davis of Van Wert; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tony (Carol) Maxwell of Lima, and David L. (Twila) Maxwell of Elida; and one sister, Robin (Denny) Burden of Delphos. She is also survived by the father of her children, Clayton Eugene Davis of Columbus, OH. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Fred Maxwell, and a sister, Yvonne Maxwell..

She was a home maker and she enjoyed crafting, sewing, cooking, baking, playing ball with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
