Ira T Cooper

Ira T. Cooper, of Delphos, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Meadows of Kalida.  He was born on Aug. 9, 1941, to Glen and Ellen (Stevens) Cooper; both preceded him in death.

He is survived by one son, Gary (Karen) Cooper of Delphos;  three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and a special caregiver, Tonya Bradley. He was preceded in death by two sons, Berry and Tommy Cooper; one daughter, Tammy King; two brothers, Bruce and Rayburn Cooper and a sister, Jewell Lumpkins. 

Ira loved working on cars, and listening to George Jones.

Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Putnam County Homecare and Hospice.
