Jimmy R. “Tad-Pole” Patrick, 76, of Delphos, passed away on October 19, 2018, at his residence.
He was born September 16, 1942, in Hihat, KY to Charles and Eliza (Potter) Patrick. Both preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Nannie Smith in 1989; she survives in Delphos.
He is survived by two sons, John (Cathy) Patrick and Robert Patrick both of Delphos; one daughter, Pam (Gary) Phipps of Waynesfield; sister, Eva Lawson of Cumberland, KY; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Andy and Grover Patrick; sister, Phyllis Tuell; and sister-in-law, Delores Patrick.
Jimmy was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Rushmore. He had worked in maintenance at Central Soya for over 32 years. He loved all kinds of music, and especially enjoyed playing his guitar. He also loved fishing and camping.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pastors Bob Morrison and Terry Brock will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour before service on Tuesday.
