Judith Ann Allemeier

Judith Ann Allemeier, 76, of Delphos, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at her residence.

She was born August 23, 1940 at home in Delphos to Louis and Veronica “Fronie” (Fuerst) Rode. Both preceded her in death.

She was united in marriage to Robert Roman Allemeier; he preceded her in death on December 12, 1997.

She is survived by a son, Craig (Julian Reynolds) Allemeier of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Linda (Jack) Gorman of Fort Jennings; two brothers, Dan (Giovana) Rode of Florida and Larry (Olga) Rode of Delphos; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Rode.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She had been the voice serving as the secretary at Central Mutual Insurance, retiring after 46 years of service. Judy loved her plants and flowers, and she enjoyed fireman memorabilia, gardening and birds, especially humming birds. She gave museum tours at her place of work and she loved to travel in her younger years.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home with calling one hour prior to the service. Father Daniel Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A Parish Wake will be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to The Pelotonia Cancer Ride.
