Kailey M. Wright

Kailey M. Wright, 23, of Lima, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 29, 2018. Kailey was born with Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome, fighting all her life because of it until she lost the battle.

She was born on February 17, 1995, to James Wright and Laura (Kroeger) Wright, her father survives in Fort Wayne, IN and her mother in Lima.

She is survived by two brothers, Dylan (Macy) Wright of Lima and James Wright Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN; nephew, Bennett Wright of Lima and a niece on the way; maternal grandfather, Thomas Kroeger of Delphos; paternal grandmother, Dottie Woldrop of Fort Wayne, IN; maternal great grandparents, Ken and Dorothy Stocklin of Delphos; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved cat, Grey. She was preceded in death by grandmothers, Gloria Kroeger and Janet Kroeger; and grandfather, James Wright.

She was a 2016 graduate of Marimor and was currently attending the RMS day service and Arch of Allen County, which was very important to her. Kailey was also a member of the Venture Crew and the Special Olympics Bowling. She had a larger than life laugh and smile, enjoyed movies, stickers; squeeze toys, loved Taco Bell, but most of all she loved playing on her tablet. Kailey was always able to put a smile on everyone’s face.

Private funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 2:00 until the time of service at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.
