Margaret "Marge" A. Lause

Margaret A. “Marge” Lause, 97, of Delphos passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017, at St. Rita’s Hospital.

She was born December 9, 1919, in Delphos to Albert and Leona (Stippich) Suever.  Both preceded her in death.  She was united in marriage to Eugene “Ike” Lause who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Carole (Robert) Maenle of Elida; brother Carl Suever of Delphos; sister Eileen Lause of Delphos; granddaughter Kathy (Dean) Whitlow of Greenwood, IN;  and two great-grandsons, Sgt. Eric Whitlow, USMC, and Sr. Airman Brian Whitlow, USAF.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Maenle.

Margaret was a homemaker.  She was the longest living member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Landeck, and also a member of the Altar Society and CL of C, both of Landeck.  Margaret loved reading.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Church in Landeck on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 10:30 a.m.  Father Douglas Taylor will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.
