Nina L. (Griffith) Redmon, 94, of Delphos, passed away on March 3, 2018, at Vancrest Healthcare Center. She was born March 9, 1923, to Hugh and Grace (Manuel) Griffith, both preceded her in death. On March 13, 1944, she was united in marriage to Bert Redmon, he preceded her in death.
Nina was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and a 1941 graduate of Gomer High School. She worked at Sioux Honey Factory in Lima; where she met her husband; later clerked at the Murphy’s Store in Delphos.
She is survived by one son, Gregory A. Redmon of Delphos; 6 grandsons, James G. Redmon, Bert P. Redmon of Delphos, Desmond A. Redmon of Venedocia, Patrick A., Jeremy W., and Johnathon W. Redmon of Delphos; four great-grandsons, Gregory R., Dylan R., Alexander J., Cody., and Darren M.; four great-granddaughters; Caitlin, Victoria J., Maggie, and Nora Redmon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Percy “Jerry” Griffith and Paul Griffith; sisters; Margaret Kizer, Jessie May Mechling and Norma McGuire; and one great granddaughter, Alexis Redmon.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, with Rev. Harry Tolhurst officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to First Presbyterian Church in Delphos.
