Paul J. Fetzer

Paul J. Fetzer, 73, of Delphos, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Kindred Hospital.

He was born August 22, 1944, in Delphos to Alfred and Gwendolyn (Dunlap) Fetzer. Both preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on May 20, 1967, to Diana Cooley, who survives.

He is survived by a son, Doug Fetzer of Delphos; a daughter, Cindy (Bruce) Troyer of Delphos; seven brothers, Orb (Rosie) Fetzer of Delphos, Phil (Sherry) Fetzer of Delphos, Ron (Lynn) Fetzer of Texas, William “Woody” (Cathy) Fetzer of Van Wert, Terry (April) Fetzer of Florida, Gerry Fetzer of Lima, and Herb (Kay) Fetzer of Delphos; and three grandchildren, Ashlyn, Aidan, and Addison Troyer.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne (Delores) Fetzer and sisters, Carlene (Vern) Schulte and Phyllis (Richard) Burkholder.

Paul had worked as a core maker at GM in Defiance for over 40 years. He was a member of the Delphos Eagles Aerie #471.  He loved all types of sports, especially hunting, fishing, bowling and golf.  His true love was spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Gus.

Funeral services will be held at Harter & Schier Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call on Monday, April 9, 2018, from 2-8 p.m. with Parish Wake services at 7:30 p.m.  Friends may also call one hour prior to the funeral service.
