Paula R. (Ulm) Noonan 61, of Delphos, went to be with the Lord Thursday evening surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 17, 1957, in Lima to the late Roberta (Sheets) and Raymond Ulm. On October 2, 1976, she married her best friend and co-class play lead, John A. Noonan. They shared 42 beautiful years together raising five children and making a house a home. Paula enjoyed the hustle and bustle of her nine grandchildren in her home as so many days were spent on the driveway or front porch swinging with her grandchildren. The smell of her cooking could round all her family up to sit around the kitchen table and no one made lasagna or Texas sheet cake better than she did. She was everyone’s biggest supporter and fan and many, especially her grandchildren, knew her presence with her whistle rooting each and every one of them on. Paula had a true love of animals, especially her horses and her dog, Daisy. She shared the passion of being a small business owner and passed down the values that family and business can thrive together. Her philanthropy extends well beyond what anyone would ever know and she would always be there to help no matter what she had going on. Paula was a member of Delphos St. John’s Catholic Church. She is survived by five children, a son Cory (Dionna) Noonan of Shawnee; four daughters all of Delphos: Amy (Chad) Martin, Rachel (Curt) Bassett, April (Zach) Spence, and Julie (Allen) Eastburn; grandchildren, Zachary and Alexa Noonan; Chase, Olivia, and Brooke Martin; Bentley, Jaxon, and Claire Bassett; and Emma Spence; and brothers Lee (Elaine) Ulm and Jay (Laura) Ulm. She was proceeded in death by infant son Bryan Joseph Noonan; her parents, Roberta (Sheets) and Raymond Ulm; her mother and father in law, Martha and Thomas Noonan; brothers in law, Ronald Noonan, and William (Cary) Prine; sister in law Joyce Noonan; her grandparents, Raymond Ulm Sr., Halle (Teopole) Ulm and Al and Frona (Bowmer) Sheets.
