Rebecca Clay

Rebecca “Becky" A Clay, 52, of Ft. Jennings, passed away on September 23, 2019, at Vancrest in Delphos.  She was born on June 15, 1967, to Victor and Sharon (Clinger) Fischbach; both preceded her in Death. 

She is survived by three children, Logan (Julie) Clay of Dublin, Bret Clay of Ft Jennings, and Hannah Clay of Ft. Jennings; a brother, Jeff (Michelle) Fischbach of Carey; two grandchildren, Aubree and Jack Clay of Dublin;  a niece Makayla Fischbach of Carey; and the father of her children, Jeff Clay of Ft. Jennings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Possum and Mid Clinger and Pete and Verona Fischbach. 

Becky was a 1985 graduate of Ottoville High School.  She was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed bowling and playing softball.  Her true joy in life came from her family especially her children. 

Her funeral Mass will be on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville.  Father Jerome Schetter and Father Charles Obinwa will officiate.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.   Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Ottoville. Memorial contributions may be made to Vancrest Activities Fund.
