Robert M Sloan

Robert M “Bob” Sloan, 63, of Delphos, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019.   He was born on August 4, 1956, to Robert and Monica Fiedler Sloan.  His father survives in Delphos.   On June 18, 1977 he was united in marriage to Julie Horn.  She survives in Delphos. 

Robert is also survived by two daughters, Andrea (Jon) Marshall of Delphos and Brandy (Sam) Sears of Van Wert; one son, Greg Sloan of Delphos; one brother, Nick (Lisa) Sloan of Delphos; one sister, Helen (Bill) Hurley of Delphos; and four grandchildren, JJ, Mikey, Aimee, and Charlotte.

 He was preceded in death by his mother, a grandchild, Austin Marshall, and a brother, Jim Sloan.

Robert was a truck driver for D&D Ingredient in Landeck.  He enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.    Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 26,  and one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
