Weigle family,
I worked with Roger for over three years and I like to think that in that time we became good friends. This is, of course, in spite of the fact that he never wanted to go to lunch with us because he "had enough friends." I still talk about him often as being my mentor and teaching me a lot about my job at Eaton and also about life. My favorite lesson and recurring theme in the office was his theory that women displayed their frustration by putting their hands on their hips. With one hand on the hip, that was a one hipper and would be a difficult issue. But if a women approached with both hands on her hips-watch out! The two hipper would mean a large issue. He would see me coming with two hands on the hips and immediately tell me to take one down.

He was a unique and wonderful man with whom has made a lasting impact on me. I truly admired his no nonsense style and was always amazed at his the depth of his knowledge.
I send my deepest sympathies to all of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I still talk about him today as being a wonderful mentor to me. Not only was he patient and helpful in helping me learn about my job at Eaton, but he always had a lot of life lessons for me. My favorite lesson was that when women get frustrated, you can tell the level of their issue by the way they stand- specifically if they put their hands on their hips. If a women has one hand on her hip (a one hipper), it is an

Where to start....Roger, we all loved Roger. He made every day at Eaton more enlightening and enjoyable than the day before. He had his one liners that everyone knew and he was so proud of his kids that he talked about constantly. I was only privileged to have worked with Roger for 2 years but just in that short stint, he found his way into my heart. I remember my first encounter with him when he was training me on the Eaton systems and he told me I asked too many questions. ha ha. He never held back. I adored this about him though. You always knew where you stood in his eyes. And he could take it back just like he could dish it out. Each year for his birthday, even after he retired, I would text him "Happy Birthday Mr. Wiggles" just to mess with him (he hated this).
Roger had a unique style and would always have everyone in the room laughing. He will be greatly missed. I can only hope that his family is able to hold on to the memories of this hilarious and generous man even during this difficult time. He celebrated every day of his life and we should celebrate him now. Forever in my heart.
