William Endres Obituary

William J. Endres Sr., 89, of Delphos, passed away on Saturday August 11, 2018, at his residence in Delphos.

He was born in Detroit, on October 13, 1928, to Earl and Monica (Kessler) Endres. Both preceded him in death. On November 18, 1950, he was united in marriage to Patricia Metcalfe; she preceded him in death on January 10, 2004.

He is survived by 2 sons, David (Lavesa) Endres of Corpus Christi, TX and Bill Endres Jr., of Elida; 3 daughters, Monica (Reginald) Bardo of Lake Elsinore, CA, Susan (Gene) Miller of Columbus Grove, and Janine Jester of Delphos; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Vayko and Patricia Dulac; one brother, Bob (JoAnn) Endres; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ann Fontaine and one grandson, Josh Miller.

He retired as an electrician and general foreman of maintenance from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. From 1989 -2004 he and his wife Pat were co-owners of Delphos RV Service. He enjoyed rebuilding Ford diesel engines.

His Funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions can be made to Community Health Professionals or Fountain Park.
