William D. Foust

William D. Foust , 81, of Lima, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018, at Lima Manor.

He was born on June 3, 1936,  in Elida to Lemar and Emma Jane (Miller) Foust who preceded him in death

He is survived by one daughter Lisa Kantner, of Lima; one brother, Charlie (Sierra) Foust of Elida; one sister, Sharon (Tom) Snyder of Lima; two grandchildren, Christina (Wayne) Holthouse of Lima, and Melissa (John) Shaw of Lima; and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Pamela Sue Foust and Jane Foust; and one sister, Patricia (Marvin) Patton.

William retired from Marathon Electric where he had worked for over forty years.  He had also served the country as a medic in the Army in his earlier years.  He loved fishing, Nascar, sports and spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 6, at 11:00 am at Harter and Schier Funeral Home with full military rites performed by the Delphos Veteran’s Council to start the services.   Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, March 5, 2018, from 5:00-7:00 pm and one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Delphos Veteran’s Council.
