Agnes “Aggie” Ann Miller, 95, of Delphos, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Homestead at Towne Center in Van Wert, OH. She was born March 3, 1931, in Ottoville, OH, to Albert and Hildagarde (Martin) Grothouse. They both preceded her in death. Aggie was united in marriage to the love of her life Thomas B. Miller on September 20, 1951. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2017. They had celebrated 65 years of marriage.
Aggie is survived by three sons, Denny (Melanie) Miller of Middle Point, Gary (Pat) Miller of Dayton, and Mark (Linda) Miller of Delphos; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Michelle Miller.
Aggie was preceded in death by a son, Rick Miller; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Richard “Dick”, Rudolph “Rudy” and Judy, Ronald “Ronnie” and Carol Grothouse; and sister and brother-in-law, Dolores “Dolly” and Richard Honigford.
Aggie was a graduate of Ottoville High School, Class of 1949. She worked as a secretary at Delphos St. John School for seven years. Aggie went on to work as an office manager for Dr. Belt followed by Dr. Hux and Dr. Seller for 31 years. She was a greeter alongside her husband, Tom, for many years at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Aggie was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, VFW auxiliary, Eagles auxiliary, and CL of C. Most dear to Aggie was her family and spending time with them.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home with a Parish Wake Service at 7:30 p.m.
