Angela Shepherd

Angela Shepherd, 72, of Middle Point, passed away at her residence on Monday, June 29, 2026. She was born in Warsaw, IN, to Frances and Nancy (Fuller) Shafer on August 16, 1953. They both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Elzie “Joe” Shepherd who passed on July 1, 1982. Angela then married Olen Shepherd who passed on October 25, 2002.

Angela is survived by sons, Matthew L. (Christina) Shepherd of Van Wert and Elzie Joe Shepherd, Jr. of Middle Point; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Max (Sue) Shafer and Lori (Scott) Culp, both of Indiana, and Major Powell of Van Wert.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Spence.

Angela was a homemaker and had also worked part-time at Conrad Truck Stop. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, sewing, and going to the fair and flea markets. Angela took her dog, Chugly, with her everywhere.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with burial in King Cemetery.
