Bonnie Boroff

Bonnie Boroff, 55, of Ft. Jennings, passed away on January 4, 2024, at her home.  She was born March 19, 1968, to Peter Clark and Betty (Shaw) Boroff.  They preceded her in death. 

She is survived by her son, Jeffery Boroff of Ft. Jennings; her daughters, Christina (Jonathon) Rivera, and Jessica McClure both of Ft. Jennings; brothers, Paul and Robert Boroff, both of Lima; sisters, Peggy Boroff of Toledo, Alice (James) Hershberger, and Becky Crider, both of Lima; and eight grandchildren, Brycson, Selena, Jovani, Ethan, Neveah, Sofia, Serenity, and Blake.

She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Matthew.

Bonnie graduated from Lima Senior High School.  She loved spending time with her family especially the grandkids. She enjoyed going out to eat and also shopping, and took advantage of her Sams Club membership.  She loved taking care of her cats, both indoor and outdoor, (the possums were also grateful).  Along with collecting leather purses, she was an avid card and board game player, especially Monopoly and Uno. She enjoyed watching her High School Musical shows, and any shows that had a lot of teenagers singing and dancing.  She looked forward to her daily walks with her dog, Daisy, to the mailbox by the road. 

Funeral Service will be Friday, January 12, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.   Pastor Steve Haddix will officiate.  Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.   Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
