Bruce A. Wessel, 56, of Delphos, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at his residence. He was born on July 26, 1963 in Lima, OH to Geary and Betty (Knapp) Wessel; both preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on October 4, 2001 to Cheryl (Ireland) Wessel; she survives in Delphos.
He is survived by one son, Billy Wessel of Delphos; one daughter, Nikki (Phil Slygh) Wessel of Delphos; one step-daughter, Brianna Hafford of Cincinnati; a twin brother, Bryan (Judy) Wessel of Cridersville; two sisters, Thressa Adams of Elgin, OH and Laurie McDorman of Mendon, OH; three grandchildren, Emilee Stuteville, Jason Rosenbeck, and Dylan Wessel; and several brothers and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Tim Adams and Randy McDorman.
Bruce worked for Unverferth for 9 years as a welder. He was a fantastic welder and very proud of his skills. He was an avid RC airplane operator and enjoyed building models of any and all kinds. He was a history buff and took a special interest in the history of wars and airplanes.
Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. A private interment and memorial service will be held at a later date.
