Charlene S. Teman, 75, of Delphos passed away on July 27, 2021, at Sarah Jane Living Center. She was born on August 23, 1945, to Walter E. and Ruth (Berryhill) Swartz. On July 13, 1963, she was united in marriage to Gerald “Butch” Teman. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2009.
Charlene is survived by one daughter, Tammy (Joe) Recker of Lima; two sons, Todd (Diane) Teman and Tony (Tammy) Teman, all of Delphos; a sister, Sheryl (Rev. James) Menke of Lima; eight grandchildren, Abigail (Jesse) Cole, Aryn Recker, Brooke (Aaron) Culp, Joshua and Madyson Teman, Amanda (Jordan) Moreo, Anthony and Seth Teman; and two great-grandchildren, Holden Moreo and Kaleb Cole.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Krugh and a grandson, Caleb Recker.
Charlene was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church. She was co-owner of Teman & Sons Tree Trimming with her husband. She worked at the WICK store owned by her mother and loved working and spending time with the elderly. She was a Missionettes leader and really enjoyed working with these girls. She loved crafts, but especially wanted to spend time with family. Her life was her husband, children and grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Delphos. Rev. Jim Menke will officiate. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 -11:00 prior to the service, also at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Assembly of God or Sarah Jane Activity Center.
