Cheryl A. Kimbel

Cheryl A. Kimbel, 69, of Delphos, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Vancrest of Delphos. She was born August 25, 1954, to Leo and Emeline (Kehres) Hesseling. They both preceded her in death.

Cheryl is survived by her brothers, Denny (Barb) Hesseling and Kevin (Tina) Hesseling both of Delphos; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Cheryl was a graduate of St. John’s; Class of 1972. She had worked for Schnipke Engraving until January 2024 when she retired after 18 years. Cheryl attended St. Peter Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her cats, trying her luck at the nickel slots, camping, going to the Delphos Eagles, and spending time with friends. Cheryl was a NASCAR fan rooting for Jeff Gordon and a Cleveland Browns fan.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to service from 9-11 am at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Delphos Eagles, Delphos St. John’s, or a local animal shelter.
