Dale A. Brooks

Dale A. Brooks, 69, of Delphos, passed away January 31, 2023, at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born November 18, 1953, in Lima, OH, to Raymond and Norma (Fiedler) Brooks. They both preceded him in death. On July 15, 2000, he was united in marriage to Candy Diltz. She survives in Delphos.

Dale is survived by stepson, Nathan Diltz of Delphos, and two grandsons, Johnathan Brooks of CA and Cole Brooks of Delphos.

Dale was preceded in death by three sons, Alan, Derrick, and David; and a sister, Joyce Brooks.

Dale was a graduate of Delphos St. Johns, Class of 1973. He was a welder at General Dynamics for 30 years. Over the years, Dale had won many tournaments and trophies for pool, traveling to Vegas for pool tournaments. He enjoyed camping, playing cards, and listening to “oldies” and country music. He was a member of the Delphos Wesleyan Church.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Haddix will officiate. Burial will be at a later a date. Visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
