David Lindeman

David Lindeman, 62, of Elida, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at St. Rita’s-Mercy Health.   He was born November 26, 1960, in Lima, to Carl and Marjorie (Allenbaugh) Lindeman who preceded him in death.  He was united in marriage to Carolyn (Gibson) Lindeman.  She survives in Elida.

David is also survived by his children, David “DJ” (Lindsey) Lindeman of St. Marys, Joey Lindeman of Elida, Caleb Larson of Paulding; stepson Matthew Lause of Elida; daughters, Nicole (Bryan) Neargarder of St. Marys and Tonjia (Petey) VanLoo of Elida; grandchildren, Chloe, Cadyn, Coltyn, Makenzie, Quinn, Knox, Legend, Dominic, Roman, Monroe, Liam and Elliana; brothers, Gary (Becky) Lindeman of Delphos and Rick (Brenda) Lindeman of Cairo; and sisters, Sondra (Bob) Williamson of Delphos, Sue (John) Young of Spencerville, and Linda (Jeff) Ladd of St. Marys.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Mike and Paul Lindeman.  

David worked at Lakeview Farms. He enjoyed NASCAR, football and yard work. He enjoyed making things out of pallets, best of all just being with family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday July 31, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
