Debra Young

Debra Young, 68, of Ft. Jennings, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at her home. She was born March 30, 1955, in Lima, OH, to Ronald and Ruby (Rice) Young. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Delphos.

Debra is also survived by her brother, Donald Young of Lima; sister, Barbara (Mike) Coil of Delphos; and many nieces and nephews, including Joshua and Samantha Young of Spencerville, Teran Starbuck of Lima, Michael and  Monica Coil of Wapakoneta, and Nichole and Will Morgan of Beavercreek.

Debra was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald; sister and brother in law, Karen (Kevin) Sendelbach, and her step-father, Glenn Allemeier.  

Debra graduated from Columbus Grove High School. She enjoyed her cats and playing bingo.  But mostly, she loved being with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.  Debra was a people-person; she always had a smile on her face and was happy to meet you. 

Funeral Services will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Pastor Charlie Rice will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.
