Donna Eickholt

Donna L. Eickholt, 68, of Cloverdale, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Meadows of Kalida.  She was born December 11, 1953, to Joseph and Mary “Riley” Martin.  Her father preceded her in death, and her mother survives in Delphos.  On August 6, 1994, she was united in marriage to Robert Eickholt who survives in Cloverdale. 

She is also survived by her daughter, Jamie (Jeremy) Tenwalde of Ft. Jennings; two stepchildren, Ben (Kate) Eickholt of Upper Sandusky and Bobbie Eickholt of Florida; grandchildren, Finn, Falynn, Christian, Cassie, and Hunter; and siblings, Sharon (Bill) Smith, Jeff (Jeanne) Martin and Deb Crider, all of Delphos; and many nieces and nephews.

Donna worked at Trim Trends in Spencerville and formerly at Harter’s in Van Wert.  She had also worked as a waitress at the Outpost, and in the Ft. Jennings American Legion kitchen. She was a member of the Ft. Jennings American Legion Auxiliary.

Gambling at casinos and playing cards were among Donna’s favorite pastimes.  She also enjoyed canning.  However, her most important times were spent with her grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.  Gary Fish will officiate.  Burial will be at a later date.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on that same day from 2:00-6:00 and until 8:00 after the services. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the donor’s choice.
