Elizabeth “Beth” E. Williams, age 83, of Delphos, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at The Meadows of Delphos with her family by her side.
She was born on November 18, 1941 to Sylvester and V. Evelyn (Best) Kraft, who both preceded her in death. On May 6, 1992 she married E. Patrick Williams who also predeceased her on April 19, 2006. They shared many happy years together traveling the U.S. to visit some of their favorite and dreamed about places.
Beth is survived by her five children; Angela (Keith) Wagner, Audra (Gary) Gunter, and Anita Wilson, all of Delphos, Andrew (Jessica) Cano of Ada, and Joetta Moneer of Van Wert as well as a stepson, Chris Williams of Ft. Wayne; eleven grandchildren; Trenton (Emily) Gossman, Jesse Cano, Carson Gunter, Justin (Megan) Stewart, Bella Wilson, Xander Wilson, Erin (Luke) Schroeder, Allison (Mark) Radabaugh, Jena (Matt) Wierwille, Allen Martin, and Isaac Moneer; and nine great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Wierwille, Elliot Gossman, Sidney, Beckett and Lincoln Schroeder, and Hunter, Cooper, Brodi, and Grayson Radabaugh. She is also survived by her sisters Monica Fetzer of Ft. Jennings and Sharon Sheeter of Delphos, and by her brothers Gerald Bruce (Edna) Kraft of Delphos and Paul Kraft of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and by the father of her children, Temi Cano of Delphos.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Steve Wilson, sisters Suzanne Cano of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Sylvia Gibson of Van Wert, brother Joseph Kraft of Oklahoma, brothers-in-law Bobby Cano and Ronald Fetzer, and also by her long-time companion, Fred Shawhan of St. Marys, Ohio.
Beth graduated from Delphos Jefferson High School in 1959 and spent many years as a member and leader of the Delphos Lioness Club. She was a talented, self-taught artist, seamstress, and crochet master who worked at Drapery Stitch for many years. She had also volunteered at the local elementary school. Her favorite activities were traveling with her husband Pat and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as she considered them her greatest joys.
Visitation will be held at Harter & Schier Funeral Home on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. with a short memorial service immediately following. Memorial contributions can be made to the Delphos Thrift Shop or to the Allen County Humane Society.
