Emily Lambert

Emily Lambert, 28, of New Haven, formerly of Delphos, passed away on May 23, 2023, at Parkview Randallia Hospital. She was born November 2, 1994, in Van Wert, OH, to Eric and Julie (Grogg) Lambert. Her father preceded her in death on January 7, 2021. Her mother survives in Delphos.

Emily is also survived by a brother, Johnathon (Amie) Lambert of Columbus; sisters, Jenna Lambert of Delphos and Jamie Day of Ada; nephew, Andrew Lambert; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved cats, Phoenix, Squid, and Luna.

Emily was also preceded in death by her grandparents.

Emily was a graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School, Class of 2013. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2017 from Defiance College. Emily worked for the Bowen Center as a social worker. She enjoyed reading, playing games, and doing diamond art. Emily had a huge heart, was very giving, and would help anyone in need. She had a contagious smile and was full of energy that you felt long after she had left. Emily loved to surround herself with family and friends. She could always be counted on to be there when you needed her.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
