Evelyn "Lynne" Berryman

Evelyn L. “Lynne” Berryman, 76, of Delphos, passed away at 4:54 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s.  She was born November 13, 1944, at home, in Spencerville to David O. and Doris Ann Leona (Keysor) Fisher. They both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to James Berryman who preceded her in death in 1996.

Lynne is survived by her children, Larry (Christine) Boop of Delphos, Melinda “Mindy” (Terry) Vanhoose of McGuffey, OH; her brother, Larry Fisher of Kenton; her sisters, Mary Ellen Snyder of Lima and Jeanie (Steve) Fogle of Kenton; five grandchildren, Jared, Jordan, Dakota and Jacob Boop, Neveah Vanhoose; and two great-grandchildren, Kayson Hanes and Levi Boop; and daughter-in-law, Toni Boop-Conley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Bobby Boop; granddaughter, Brittney Boop; brother, Bud (Jackie) Fisher; sister, Rosanna (Ed) Butler; and brother-in-law, Dano Snyder.

Lynne attended Delphos Wesleyan Church. She worked at Superior Coach in Lima for many years and Kenton Molded Plastics. She was a graduate of Allen East High School, Class of 1962. She enjoyed watching her kids play sports, even helping to coach her kid’s softball team. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting and sewing. She loved making scarves, hats, and gloves for those in need for the winter months.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to service, on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos, OH. Rev. Steven Haddix will officiate. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
