Frances Russell Obituary

Frances Russell, 72, of Grover Hill, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Vancrest of Van Wert. She was born November 30, 1951, in Montpelier, OH to William Joseph and Dorothy Eileen (Smith) Potts. They both preceded her in death.

Frances is survived by daughter, Laura (Jason) Merriman of Grover Hill; sons, Craig Adkins of Defiance, and Matthew Adkins of North Baltimore; multiple grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren; and sister, Rose Shepherd of Paulding.

Frances was preceded in death by a brother, William Potts; and sister, Barb Gillett.

Frances worked for Dietrich’s in Hicksville, OH. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching TV, especially the Hallmark Channel, NCIS, and CSI. Frances was a kid at heart whose dogs were very special to her. She was a big Elvis Presley fan.

Services will be held privately by the family.
