Helen Ann Luebrecht, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of Sunday, June 20, 2021, at Vancrest of Delphos Assisted Living. She was born at home in Delphos to Clement and Armella Grone on March 25, 1940. They both preceded her in death.
Helen is survived by her sons, Matthew Luebrecht and Michael (Amy) Luebrecht, both of Fort Jennings; three grandsons, Austin, Lucas and Seth Luebrecht; two sisters, Valeta Beining of Ottawa and Norma Goedde of Delphos.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Lisa Marie, Christine Ann, and Maria Kay; one grandson, Joel Luebrecht; and two brothers-in-law, John Goedde and Rudy Beining.
Helen was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a graduate of St. John’s High School, Class of 1958. She was also a graduate of St. Rita’s Nursing Program and worked for them for several years. Helen also worked for Memorial Home which is now Vancrest of Delphos. She enjoyed playing Bingo, reading and socializing. She never met a stranger and was always open and ready to engage with new people. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her!
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021, at St. John Catholic Church in Delphos, OH. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Fort Jennings, OH. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021, with a Wake Service at 7:30 p.m., at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.
