Jim L. Norris Jr. “J”, 51, of Ottoville, formerly of Delphos, passed away June 3, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Allen County, to James Norris and Lynn (Kurtz) Woten on February 5, 1970. His father preceded him in death; his mother survives in Delphos.

Jim is also survived by his two sisters, Amy (Todd) Schulte and Lori (Bob) White both of Delphos; his nieces and nephews, Kody (Lyndsay), Madilynn, Colin, Josie, Braysen, and Carson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved dog, Spanky.

He is preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Vern and Donnabelle Norris; and his maternal grandparents, Donald and Ruth Kurtz.

Jim attended Delphos St. John School. He enjoyed working at Wannemachers’ Tavern and socializing with his friends. Anyone who knew Jim knew he had a passion for dogs and riding his Harley Davidson.

 Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 18, 2021, with a prayer service to follow at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.  Private graveside burial at a later date.
