Justin Diltz

Justin Diltz, 69, of Van Wert, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Van Wert Hospital. He was born August 31, 1954, to Roger and Shirley (Hile) Diltz. They both survive in Delphos. He was united in marriage to Marcia Shellabarger on April 16, 1975. She preceded him in death on July 27, 2021.

Justin is survived by sons, Jon (Maria) Diltz of Delphos and Chad Diltz of Van Wert; daughters, Kristina and April Diltz both of Van Wert; grandchildren, Ryan Diltz, Kierra Diltz, Jordan Diltz, Waylon, and Whitlee Diltz; great-grandchildren, Amari and Amiah Diltz; brothers, Mark, Randy, Jim (Diane), and Lyle Diltz all of Delphos; and sisters, Vicky Friemoth, Karen (Mike) Shaffner, Cheryl (Dan) Lehmkuhle, Candy Brooks, Misty (Brad Slechter) Bowers.

Justin was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia; and his brother-in-law, Dale Brooks.

Justin worked at Fruehauf for over 30 years. He liked to fish and play basketball. Justin was a past member of the Delphos Eagles #471, American Legion Post #268, and the Fox Hunters Club.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
