Karen Marie (Young) Sendelbach, 61, of Delphos, passed away 10/24/2021 at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born September 4, 1960, in Lima, OH, to Ronald E. Young, Sr. and Ruby (Rice) Allemeier. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Delphos. She was united in marriage to Kevin Sendelbach on December 3, 1994. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2021.

Karen is survived by her brother, Donald Young of Lima; sisters, Debra Young of Rushmore and Barbara (Mike) Coil of Delphos; brother-in-law, Michael (Penny) Bays of Bryan, OH; sister-in-law, Diane Young of Toledo; nieces and nephews, Nichole Coil, Taren Starbuck, Michael (Monica) Coil, and Joshua (Samantha) Young; many great nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Young, Jr.; twin sister, Sharon Young; and stepfather, Glenn Allemeier.

Karen enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, reading and listening to Classic Rock. She and Kevin enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. She worked at Van Dyne Crotty for a number of years and also as a custodian at the Delphos Herald.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home and one hour prior to funeral services on Saturday.
