Kathleen Corzine Obituary

Kathleen Corzine, 75, of Delphos, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Vancrest of Delphos. She was born August 16, 1948, in Rapid City, SD, to Louis G. and Kathleen Alfreda (Ulph) Wesler. They both preceded her in death. Kathleen was united in marriage on April 17, 1971, to Larry Corzine in Lima. He survives in Middle Point.

Kathleen is also survived by their children, Brien (Tammy) Corzine of Middle Point; Sheri (Phil) Miller of Delphos; grandchildren, Reid (Beth) Corzine of Delphos, Alex Miller of Van Wert, Shelbee (Quintin) Mengerink of Pensacola, FL, Andrew Corzine of Middle Point, Jenna Corzine of Middle Point, Logan Miller of Delphos, and Krista Corzine of Middle Point; great-grandchildren, Ava Miller, Maci Miller, and Millie Miller all of Van Wert, and Baby Corzine due in April 2024; sister, Cora Ryan of Minster, OH; nephews, Bill (Mariah) Lehman of Bremerton, WA and Lou (Cindy) Wesler of Broken Arrow, OK; niece, Mindy (Grant) Shellswell of Barrie, ONT; and special friends, Jan Swickrath of Elida and Nev Kautner of Lima; “adopted sibling” Avril (Larry) Comfort of Alberta and Gordon (Jan) Reeves of Ontario; bonus mom to Missy (Shannon) Wagoner and Nicole Warnecke. Kathleen was preceded in death by her brother, Louis E. Wesler.

Kathleen was a graduate of Hamilton Township in Columbus; Class of 1965. She attended The Ohio State University-Lima Campus. Kathleen was a member of Delphos VFW Auxillary #3035, Delphos Eagles #471, and past member of the Delphos Chapter Lioness. She had worked at The Delphos Herald/Eagle Print, ODOT, and Violet Implements. Kathleen loved canning and making Christmas candy and pies with her grandkids. She was the best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother! Kathleen enjoyed playing Candy Crush and Euchre, watching Wheel of Fortune and HGTV, and to travel. Kathleen would often meet up with her friends from The Delphos Herald/Eagle Print for breakfast or lunch. She enjoyed spending winter in Texas and she was able to take an Alaskan cruise in August 2021 fulfilling one of her items on her bucket list! Kathleen was a fabulous seamstress; designing and making her wedding gown and all of her attendants dresses. She also designed and made Sheri’s wedding gown. Kathleen made multiple prom dresses over the years.  She used to bowl at Delphos Recreation on Wednesday nights and was a Junior Bowling Coach. Kathleen also volunteered at the Delphos Interfaith Thrift Shop.

Services will be held privately by the family.
