Kim Renee Wagoner, 66, of Delphos, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born on February 14, 1955, in Lapeer, MI, to Walter “Scott” and Vondah (Doe) Carpenter. They both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Terry Wagoner on August 18, 1973. They recently celebrated 48 years together. He survives in Delphos.
Kim is also survived by sons, Shannon (Missy) Wagoner of Delphos, and Shane (Tina) Wagoner of Fort Jennings; two grandchildren, Katelyn and Zach; two brothers, Bill and Joe Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Leslie Rison and Jackie Kwasigroh.
Kim worked for Orbitron for many years until they closed and then retired from Teleflex after many years of service. She was a past member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and current member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a lifetime member of the Delphos VFW Post 3035 Auxiliary. Kim enjoyed camping, watching NASCAR, and cooking for anyone who was hungry. She treasured her time spent attending her grandchildren’s sporting and school events and being with her family. In keeping with Kim’s loving and generous spirit, it was her decision to donate life so that others may live.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home and one hour prior to mass at that church. There will be a VFW Post 3035 Auxiliary Service at 7:00 p.m. followed by a parish Wake Service at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
