Lana S. Drewyore

Lana S. Drewyore, 81, of Delphos, passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 18, 2026. She was born in Van Wert, OH, to Glenn and Lela (Bowen) Proffitt. They both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Robert Drewyore who preceded her in death on December 28, 2014.

Lana is survived by children, Lisa (Larry Thomas) Thomas and Tim Drewyore both of Delphos; two grandchildren, Devonn Thomas and Elijah Drewyore; five great-grandchildren, Valentina, Nayeliz, Leiauna, Victoria, and Zayleigha; brothers, Kurt (Carol) Proffitt and Carey (Ellen) Proffitt both of Van Wert; and several nieces and nephews.

Lana was preceded in death by a sister, Wynona Proffitt.

Lana was a graduate of Van Wert High School, Class of 1962. She worked as a LPN and then worked for Time Warner Cable. Lana started out as a customer service representative and then retired as the office manager after 28 years of service. She loved her cats, doing crossword puzzles, playing Yahtzee, painting, drawing, playing games on her iPad, and enjoyed laying out in the sun. Lana treasured her time spent with friends and family. She was a member of Delphos St. John Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
