Larry A. Hart, 61, of Harrison Township near New Madison, died the morning of February 4, 2024, at his home surrounded by family.
Larry was born on February 1, 1963, the son of John and Rosie (Wienken) Hart.
He went to Landeck and Spencerville Elementary school. He attended Lincolnview high school. Larry went to work at the oil fields in New Mexico. Other work was with his cousins at Siefker Sawmill, Scotts Crossing; Krendl Machine, Ottoville and Parker Hannifin in Eaton. He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle and could fix anything. His greatest pleasure was visits with his grandchildren and nieces. Larry was a member of the Christian Biker group Son’s of God.
He married Julie A. Spencer on March 19, 1988 in Las Vegas, NV.
He is survived his wife, Julie; their daughters, Tasha (Tommy) Hayes, Anderson, IN, and Mindy Vanderzanden, New Paris; his grandchildren, Tessa Hayes, Robin Hayes, Wyatt Stewart, and Alexandra Vanderzanden; a sister, Sandy (Sam) Bonifas, Landeck; and two nieces, Tiffany (Ryan Brown) Mozingo and Sadie (Corey) Wreede.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, Stan Mozingo.
His visitation will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Landeck one hour before services with a Rosary being recited half an hour before Mass.
The funeral Mass will be on Friday February 9, 2024, at 10:00 am and burial will be in the church cemetery.
If possible, the family requests you wear Harley Davidson colors orange and black to the services.
