Larry R. Renner

Larry R. Renner, 69, of Middle Point, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at his residence. He was born February 24, 1950, in Lima to Lester and Dorothy (Stetler) Renner. They both preceded him in death.

He is survived by a son, Braydon Renner of Delphos; two daughters, Shannon Sears of Middle Point and Serena Renner of Ohio City; sister, Deb Gardener of Van Wert; six grandchildren, Mackenzie Baker, Ryanne DuCheney, Tayah Renner, Zaenen Renner, Heath Sears, and Maicee Renner; and one great-grandson, Tate Baker. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marna Blackburn.

Larry had worked at Kennedy Kit as the safety director, was a graduate of Delphos Jefferson, and served in the Marines. He was also an artist and poet, where he received many awards in both. He enjoyed hiking, especially in the Rocky Mountains.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 27, 2019; from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home with Military Grave Rites by the Delphos Veterans Council to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Delphos Veterans Council.
