Leslie Moening

Leslie Ann Moening, 52, of Delphos, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024, after fighting a short battle with an aggressive form of cancer. She was born at St. Rita’s Hospital on November 19, 1971 to Tonja (Wiley) and Donald Moening. They preceded her in death.

Leslie is survived by three daughters, Chelsey Cloud, Jayda Dennard, and Wiley Dennard; two granddaughters, Journee Taylor and Denver Cloud; her siblings, Jeannette (Steve Cunningham) Moening, Mitchell (Marion) Moening, and Jennifer (Roger) Moening-Lehman; and many nieces, nephews, and her extended family.  

Leslie worked at the Delphos and Lima KFC and Ruler Foods on Elida Road in Lima. She loved to spend time with her daughters and granddaughters, especially shopping and eating Chinese food.  Leslie will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm prior to her service.
