Lucille was a God-fearing, family loving woman whose greatest joy was in helping her loved ones in any way she could. She was active and never met a salad she didn’t like. She was also an amazing cook and baker. Her Christmas joy was baking all of December and then giving the fruits of her labor to family and friends, each year topping the last. At her peak, she baked over 1700 cookies plus handmade candies to give away. She had heirloom recipes for wonderful cakes and dishes, but would give them to anyone who asked. She worked outside the home at Myers Cleaners, Van Dyne Crotty, and Eaton Corp., but her joy was in the home.
She was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of St. John’s the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist Churches.
